Brockton Gems is a woman owned jewellery studio based in Toronto, Canada. I specialize in collecting special things you won't find anywhere else. I focus on true vintage engagement rings and also create unique custom pieces that blend the character and quality of the past with a modern sensibility. I often design with repurposed antique diamonds, giving old gems a new life. Other bespoke pieces are built around ethically sourced sapphires and diamonds, designed as modern heirlooms to be worn and kept.
My process always begins with the perfect one-of-a-kind gemstone. Each piece built with a commitment to craftsmanship, proportion, and timeless form.
Some of my current favourites things include old mine cut diamonds, the Art Deco period, Canadian champagne diamonds, green sapphires and tailored bezel settings.
I studied biology and law at university but was always drawn to gems and jewellery. After taking a break from my legal career to have my son, I decided to study gemmology with the Canadian Gemological Association and turned a lifelong love of gems into my work.
Brockton takes its name from my family home near Hamilton, a place I always love to come back to.
My jewels are available online or by appointment only at my Toronto studio.
