At Brockton, I work with you one on one to create a modern heirloom made to last. Bringing my training as a gemologist to each stage of the process, I help clients make informed decisions about gemstones, design, and construction. Every piece is designed and made in Toronto. Custom designs take 4 to 6 weeks and start at $3,500.

Every custom project starts with a conversation. Whether you are creating an engagement ring from scratch or reworking a family heirloom, I work with you to understand your style, source the right materials, and guide the process from start to finish. I regularly work with out of town clients through video consultations and remote approvals. I specialize in sourcing distinctive stones including antique natural diamonds, quality sapphires, and unique lab diamonds, including champagne tones and old mine cuts. Every design starts with the gemstone, with all details and pricing confirmed before production begins. I take on a limited number of custom projects at a time to keep the process personal and hands on.

Step 1 – Consultation

We begin with a complimentary 1 hour, one on one consultation to discuss your wish list, budget, and design direction.

Step 2 – Gem Sourcing

Based on our conversation and budget, I source a curated selection of stones from specialized suppliers for you to choose from. For complicated sourcing, a $100 sourcing fee may apply that will be fully credited toward your finished piece. Sourcing takes 1 to 2 weeks.

Step 3 – Gem Selection and Design

We meet in person to select your gemstone and refine the design details and confirm all specifications, including pricing, before production begins. This takes place in a complimentary 1 hour appointment.

Step 4 – Wax Model

A wax model is created of your ring. Photos and videos of your model are sent to you for approval. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the beginning of this step, before your ring is created in wax. It takes 1 to 2 weeks to create your wax prototype.

Step 5 – Final Production

Your piece goes into production and is fabricated in your metal of choice. Your stone is then set by our expert setter. The balance of your payment is due when the ring is completed. Production takes 1 to 2 weeks.

Step 6 – Delivery

Your finished piece can be picked up in person or shipped internationally. Shipping includes full insurance until the package is signed for. We ship FedEx next day priority and packages usually arrive within 1 to 2 days in Canada.
